Air France

Overview

Air France was created when four courier companies and Aeropostale, a mail carrier merged together into one corporate entity. The airline was launched in 1933 and had a fleet of 259 aircraft. Today, it has a similar size fleet but has introduced several innovations for its passengers. In addition to the typical online services, Air France offers ‘smartboarding’ thereby avoiding queues to pass airport security and a baggage tracking using microchip tagging. Mobile phones services are available on all flights.

The company is committed to quality service and tries to avoid flight delays, realising that few aspects annoy customers more than delayed flights.
